Meet Michael

Michael H. Hoffman is a smart, tough, and compassionate trial attorney. Michael is an experienced and trusted legal advisor. Michael has a proven track record of creating successful outcomes for his clients. Michael listens to his clients to provide them with effective solutions to meet their needs.

Since 2003, Michael has been the president and sole shareholder of the Law Offices of Michael H. Hoffman. P.A., a law firm based in Eugene, Oregon. specializing in family law and business law matters. Michael also served as general counsel to a Nasdaq publicly traded company during 2017, also served as general counsel to a venture capital fund based in Palo Alto, California, from 2001 until 2003.

Since 2018, Michael has been a member of the Oregon Stare Bar and serving clients through the Lawyer Referral Service Program, including the Modest Means Program.

Michael practiced law with law firms, including Shutts & Bowen (1999 – 2001), Baker & McKenzie (1996 – 1999), Gordon, Feinblatt (1995 – 1996), and Freer & McGarry (September 1993 –June 1996).

Michael graduated with a BSM from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business in 1990, and a Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School in 1993.  

Since 2016, Michael has lived in Eugene, Oregon, with his two children. He enjoys running, biking, hiking, snowboarding at Hoodoo and MTB, kiteboarding, and live music, especially the rock band Phish.​
